2018 in review
As 2018 has come to an end it’s time to look back at what interesting and lovely things have happened.
First of all, this website was launched in February. There was (and is) still a lot to do, but the first sections of the website were ready to explore. The most interesting for me was Myspace blog, as it was unavailable for quite some time and has been finally recreated. The more content followed but we’ll get to it later.
For a band that is publicly inactive since 2013, 2018 turned out to be a fruitful year. First of all, we saw the release of Chad Fischer’s wonderful soundtrack album for the show Scandal, which was made available digitally through the major online platforms. Some of the links where you can purchase or listen to the album are below:
The next major event happened towards the end of the year, the reissue of All the Time in the World on coloured vinyl in November. This marked the band’s second vinyl release after their debut single “Buttercup”, which was also coloured transparent by the way. A closer look at the contents of All the Time in the World LP was also made available right before Christmas.
We also celebrated the first jubilee of Big Spill in 2018.
As for the website itself, it had several updates through the year. The most notable are
- lyrics to the albums Back Sides, Big Spill and Guilty Pleasures the 80’s Volume 1,
- the entirely new section Gigography
- some updates to the discoraphy and videos section
If you are looking for the magnificent Clay Cow Production video for “Scene of the Crime”, lazlobane.net is the only place so far.
There are plans for new content set to appear in the near future, so don’t forget to subscribe via email.
Have a happy 2019;)
